Professor Birch

Professor Birch (Japanese: オダマキ博士 Dr Odamaki) is the most notable Pokémon professor of Hoenn. He is also the one who new trainers of Hoenn go to receive their beginner Pokémon. The three that he offers to new trainers are Treecko, Torchic, and Mudkip.

Professor Birch's lab is located in Littleroot Town.

He specialty is on Pokémon habitat and distribution.
